Story
Situation
At ANTIEGG, inbound B2B inquiries were being answered up to two days after first contact. From the customer's side, there was no way to know whether their inquiry had even been received. No follow-up system existed — dormant leads were written off, not re-engaged. The business was losing deals it didn't know it was losing.
Task
Eliminate response delay and build a reactivation layer for dormant leads — without adding headcount or engineering resources.
Action
Designed a 3-stage Make.com automation: (1) same-day confirmation email on every new inquiry, (2) 3-day follow-up reminder if no reply after manual response, (3) reactivation sequence for long-dormant leads. Weighed the risk of automated replies sending the wrong message — but since the existing process was already losing leads, a monitored pilot was the right call. Ran a 3-month pilot where a team member reviewed automated messages before expanding to full automation. Built entirely in Make.com — visual and no-code — so the ops team could maintain it independently.
Result
Discovery call conversion rate: 75% → 92%. Response time: 2 days → same day. 15% of dormant leads reactivated. Lesson: every touchpoint is an opportunity. One well-timed follow-up can revive a deal that felt dead.
